RAGBRAI in Coon Rapids

The City of Coon Rapids looks forward to having RAGBRAI visit our "County Fair" on July 21st, 2008. We realize the trip here may be exhausting, kinda like ol' Cooter's truck, but we hope our hospitality will allow you to kick back and rest up for the next leg of your journey.
To rest up we will have plenty of vittles like corn on the cob, rhubarb pie, grilled meats and our favorite, opossum in a can. And don't forget about the entertainment. Plenty of the locals want to show off their talent. We have been hiding Elvis all these years and are ready to break him out!
A bit of geography - a glacier stopped just North of Coon Rapids awhile ago, in fact we still have a chunk of ice to prove it. So what that means is everything to Jefferson is as flat as this here earth. Come back real soon ya'll for more facts and information!

Attention Citizens of Coon Rapids: We need your help!
Look for an upcoming meeting in May to sign up for a fun day at the "County Fair." We need as many hospitable people to come out and welcome 15,000 of our closest friends.
